Why don't you try calling the number on their website. It appears they can still be ordered. I know one person (FEI rider) that had one and found it extremely helpful. She actually mailed it to me on loan to try. I was afraid to try it. Even though it has a release system and all, I was just worried...

I posted this in Veterinary, too. Lad's blood test came back positive for EPM, so we will begin treatment. In the meantime, I guess I'll see if I can find someone with lesson horses until we see what the outcome is. I do think he'll be okay. I'm truly sorry to hear this news, but glad that you at l...

Copying from the Micklem except this is just a noseband. The bit attaches to the cheek pieces.

Some clarification. From the good sources I've read, the attack was not at the disabled people that use the facilities of the Inland Regional Center. There are just so many weird things that can be wrong with a horse unrelated to how they present. A long time ago, I had a young friend that did hunters. She had a horse she had raised from a foal. When you feel your horse needs to be retired, will you buy another? Or, is this your last hurrah? I don't want to ride my horse anymore. I think there is a serious problem. When a horse refuses to want to walk under saddle (when it is a new behavior) there is a pain issue and the liklihood is that it is in his back. i would get X-rays and suspect kissing spin or something like that. I would get a vet that specializes in sport horse l...

Back in the old days, there was no double at third but there were no flying changes. Then they put the flying changes in. Then they put the double back in. I agree that long necks are more problematic. Of course, the way they are set-on makes a difference too.
