Re: ANY help with conservatorship, Adult Protective Services

khall I am so sorry. this is a hard road. That's what I found is that it is cheaper to find a good facility that to try to do 24/7 care in the home, and it's probably better for her. Sad to say, if your mom is like mine, I think it doesn't matter to her because she can't remember. This might help yo...

Re: May the horse be with you. And June

I have discovered, and I hope this helps, I need to sit tall, not back. Sitting tall allows my seat to move with the jump of the stride, sitting back stops the seat from swinging and is like hitting the brake. Yes. This is the way. It can also drop their back and interfere with them if you sit back!

Re: May the horse be with you. And June

Chisamba--That sounds a lot like what I've gone through with Quilla. We got to GP, did pretty well for about a year, and then she got anxious and started anticipating and doing things like stopping. If I tried to push her, esp. in a show, she would rear and capriolle. It got MUCH worse if I tried to...

We got 5 and 6 on the pirouettes, which were tight, but I cannot decipher was she wrote on both: "don't come in w/hon (or w/hor) lead." Any ideas? All 7's on the last line except a 6 on the passage. I’d assume that means “don’t come in with haunches leading”. THANK YOU. I could NOT figure...

We had a pretty good show today, too. A longer drive than usual, which I think helps Quinn 'cuz she has time to chill. I warmed her up lightly and did nice one tempis. Re: May the horse be with you. And June

Funny how we see things from a different perspective. I see CDJ riding a young anxious horse tactfully, giving him a loose rein and letting him stop and look because he is so anxious and tight. I don't see the rider creating the tightness. Hey if you can take an 4 year old out in a very vibrant sur...
