Re: I have a diagnosis, at last, and it's quite interesting
It's so nice when you finally have something concrete and can finally figure out what the heck to do about it!

Re: Keurig or Keurig-style coffee makers: Do you like them?
I had two and did not like them. In addition to the expense, temperature, and waste issues (BTW, you can buy reusable filter cups and supply your own coffee), it made such a mess! I was wiping up dripped and splashed coffee all the time :( I'm the only coffee drinker in my house, so I now use a 3 cu...

So, out of curiosity, where do sites like "Wayback Machine" fit in?

Re: The first rollkur thread of the new DDBB!
Show me a horse that naturally moves that way or in rollkur and I'll start changing my thinking. The point of riding horses is to preserve their natural movement, not destroy it. The pressure on the nichal ligament (which is designed to hold the head up, NOT "stretch" down) is horrible. Ho...

Tuddy, G4 has the best camera/video on the market right now from what I've researched.

Re: I need a new phone
I really like my LG G4. I also loved my Samsung S4, but the camera and video quality is better on the LG than the newer Samsungs. I do a lot of video and pictures.

Re: Old dog GI issues
Elevated liver enzymes (as well as excessive drinking and peeing) sets off my warning bell. Not sure how to dose it at that weight, but I would probably put him on turmeric. I really do think it helped our elderly. We tried Denamarin, and then straight SamE, but he couldn't tolerate either of those,...

Re: What will it take for gun lovers to say ENOUGH
Perhaps if gun registries had an expiration date the way vehicle registries do? You could have to renew your application every so many years and potentially even a medical check for mental health issues. If you've acquired a certain number of additional guns (or additional types of guns) you could ...

Re: Tell us about YOU.
I was MLP on UDBB, and on COTH as well. I actually was a member of UDBB in the early 2000's, but I can't remember my username (I mostly lurked). I took a many-year hiatus of message boards after the local IL horse board I ran became overwhelmed and I handed off the reins. I have been around horses i...

Re: What will it take for gun lovers to say ENOUGH
We actually do allow inspection of motor vehicles, depending on where you live. For example, your state might have emission and safety testing requirements for which you have to provide evidence for in order to renew you plates or license. You consent to these conditions when you buy a car. Why wou...

Re: What will it take for gun lovers to say ENOUGH
Yes, there may be reasonable search and seizure without a warrant. That would fall under the realm of if you were pulled over and the officer had reasonable suspicion or probable cause to believe you had a firearm in the car without proper licensing or carry permits. It could also fall under the si...

Re: Old dog GI issues
Pumpkin did well with our elderly, too. Just be sure you give an appropriate amount. Our German Shepard was getting up to 3 tablespoons a day, so I would probably feed a Pom at most two teaspoons. Just curious, have you had regular bloodwork done recently? We were having a similar problem with the G...

Re: Pasture board, your location and hay
I'm in Northern IL and while I don't have my mare on pasture currently, she has been in the past. I also ride at a second barn and pass a few places on the way that pasture horses. Most have started supplementing around here. At my own barn, we have 8 horses on a 20 acre pasture, 12hrs a day. Our BO...

Re: What will it take for gun lovers to say ENOUGH
I was simply pointing out that the actual wording of your 4th Amendment states... "unreasonable seach and seizure", which means if they find it "reasonable" they could proceed without a warrant. Yes, there may be reasonable search and seizure without a warrant. That would fall u...

Re: What will it take for gun lovers to say ENOUGH
What happened to self-control? Taking a deep breath? Figuring that for just about any situation, it wasn't worth loosing your temper. I believe these things went out the door when we became an "instant gratification" society. You no longer have to wait for the store to open in the morning...

Either Animalintex poultice pads or Magic Cushion and a vetwrap/duct tape boot. It depends on what I have on hand.
