Horses and Riders

Would it be a good idea to make a thread with each person's forum name and the horse/s they are riding? I am HOPELESS at remembering people's names, so a thread with just name and horse pic might be helpful? Especially for keeping track of who's who in the goals thread. No long descriptions, just a ...

My grandparents (both have died) were refugees from the war, and scratched up a living here in Australia from having nothing. Nice score!!! Dressage can be a bit funny, sometimes how I think the ride goes isn't what it looks like. Does this happen to professionals too? Also, judges can be that little bit different in what they like to see. Sounds like he's going great :) Funny how a big place can really be a small world at...

Apparently we are in for a whole weekend (and I think we have a long one too - I never know due to being a shift worker and now a working student) of rain. I don't think I've seen 3 days on full rain on our forecast! We've had it so dry for so long. So, I'm in for a boring weekend, BUT I rode both m...

Well technically it's the 1st of June, but as an end of month session, I had a 'go forward' tuning session with my guy. I took him to my instructors and was frustrated with his lack of willing to go. I don't think I'll try and do the next level on my horse at the training day. I was starting to harass him and he gets resentful if I start pushing too much. So, I've been there 2 months now. Settled into a good routine, and getting the hang of the riding style. The highlight is getting to ride the Andalusion stallion! Sounds like a great garden idea Straightforward. I should try and put more thought into mine, basically I put stuff in, if it dies I try something else. How long has he been lame for? If it's only a short time, I would rest for a week or two and then reassess. Maybe give him bute in that time if the vet suggests it's an inflammation somewhere? But I personally wouldn't ride.
