Re: Can we get a jump on April/May training goals thread?

Supposedly shipping mid summer. I read that the setup time will go from 8 minutes for the Soloshot 2 to 30 seconds with the 3. Wait. Can that be right? just 30 seconds?! I hope so!!!!! That is the WHOLE reason I ordered a 3. While I've got my system down pat with the 2, I know I will be in love wit...

I'm liking how our training threads are going, and I stopped posting stuff on UBDD because it was too intimidating. I LOVE getting critique and help but sometimes you're made to feel like you're not even trying! But I know we all try very hard to get this right. As for politics, I don't even follow ...

I love gardens, but dislike gardening so mine tend to be shabby or overgrown depending on if we've had any rain.

Re: When the farrier makes a mistake?

Where I live, there's a fair range of farriers I can use, so I would probably change to someone else. It was the line where you said you noticed something funny, but he dismissed it, and you ended up taking your horse to the vet. That would make me change farriers. I'd want one to have a bit of noti...

I'm onto my second kindle, my first one (keyboard one) died, and the second one is the touch screen one. Thanks Chisamba! I think I understand what you mean. I think I've been 'throwing him away' in the transitions - giving too much when he's not 100% honest and then he just walks out the open door (by stiffening/raising the neck slightly). I think it looks pretty cool !!

The drawing gorgeous, but it's hard to get it to transcribe to skin, and I think they've done a pretty good job.
Maybe later add a bit more flair to it, if you find a good artist, but otherwise I wouldn't be unhappy with that.

Yes, the youtube link works! And the commentary is awesome, for the dressage it's been with Carl Hester and Pammy Hutton. I've loved how they don't sugar coat anything, but then they stop being too mean or picky. Carl gives some good little training tips in amongst it too.
