One thing that WAZ taught was to use the crop on the shoulder for the walk. That this was more natural to wake up that walk and get it marching without the tension that can come from behind the leg or on the hindquarter. Of course the leg is applied too... so hopefully sink into the brain leg means ...

I watched the whole series. Nothing earth shattering... just good "old fashioned" dressage. Poor guy. I'll wager he fights anti Dutch trainer stuff because of the Roll Kur crowd. He obviously is not part of that. The videos are nicely done, and put a great mental image in the rider's mind ...

Your best bet is from UK/Europe although not all UK/Europe sites will ship to the US. (or have license to sell to the US) Calevo is well know and used by many.

Yes! You can buy one of the stand alones at Lowes/Home Depot for cheap, and then can be connected to water source via a flexible hose like one uses for the washing machine. So much better than having to bend over a bucket/bigobject to wash things at the barn.

I think that is because of the way the weight bears on the elongated neck, rather than the wither. On the one I posted, You don't get that because of the complete articulation at the wither for the shoulder.

I would be very surprised if you have a smart phone that has apps, and you don't have data. Most providers will not allow that, and you have to a have minimum data plan. Do you text? If you do, you have data. SMS is transferred over the data network, not the voice.

Inside on the left is a standard blanket hook... err... don't know what those are called.... THere are 2 inside, with a large patch of velcro, and then the 1 blanket strap on the left side as shown in the picture. Its rather like a big double breasted cost for horses.

I've always preferred them as I think they put less pressure on the withers and neck. Yes, the Wug does bunch down, but it still puts less pressure on the neck. Same thing. What you are looking for is the Beta Glucan which is in the oat flour/fiber. That is the special sauce in the Succeed that you pay fortunes for. And yes... I feed about 1/4 to half a cup. I just mix it in the oats with a little water... so it sticks.
