Additionally, one learns to rise bread in the refrigerator when one is at altitude since bread can rise too fast and not develop the nice yeasty flavor. I didn't believe that bread would rise in the refrigerator until I tried it - worked like a charm! :)

Usually diesels do have 2 batteries.

It really isn't good for anything to sit for a long time. Hard on the various seals in the drive train as they can dry out and start leaking. Overall best to start and drive at least once/month (or so I was told).

FWIW, I had a trickle charger connected to my F250 so when it would sit I would plug in the trickle charger and the batteries would still stay charged.

Thank you, NRA *sigh*. This is one of the problems I have with them. As you stated, we *need* to know the underlying causes and the (cough) lovely NRA blocked it. It's the easy way out for those who won't consider that easy access to guns is the real problem. Then I'll "take the easy way out" as I don't believe that easy access to guns is the real problem... we've had easy access to gun for hundreds of years and now all of a sudden it's the problem...

Or in jail... jails frequently house people who should have a mental hospital to go to but most are, as you said, closed. The ones left are often very hard to get in to.
