Re: Looking forward to looking forward - March/April Goals and Progress
Quick update, life is happening too fast right now. Maybe in a month? I had by last week with the wind and weather and such and we buckled d...

SF-mikey was showing similar but more extreme symptoms and just got his teeth done, he's so much happier. Molars were sharp on both sides but more so on the left, poor boy. Upward and onward. Very good lesson for where we are last Friday and I have my homework with keeping his shoulders straight and...

I read and feel like I'm so far behind, trying to glean what I can and not make comparisons. And literally move forward. Forward, but not rushing. Figured out his new trot evasion, leg and forward and no pulling my hands back at all. I think I need to do the same thing in the canter. I keep re...

Re: Looking forward to looking forward - March/April Goals and Progress
I jump and hack out in the same bridle that I ride dressage in, snaffle, looose-ring, fat, KK like bit at this point. I would prefer an eggbutt. The past 2 years it was a single jointed eggbutt snaffle, very fat. Mikey is so light in the bridle, but when I don't have enough contact and he's not forw...

More jingles exvet, gosh, hoping you feel so much better tomorrow. I love jumping my guy and doing poles, we do well with that, and that translates well to dressage for us. I should have read this thread before I posted my goals, great info here! Interestingly I'm working on med trot with Sylvester and poles with Bear.
