It was so funny the other day - I was handwalking Annabelle and she was watching a palomino horse being ridden down Hubbard Rd. I think a hair dryer would come in handy and shorten the process? I know when I have had surgery, to avoid rubbing an incision, I have used the hair dryer on a lower setting to get those areas nice and dry and it worked very well. Boy, does that video bring back (bad) memories. Kyra wasn't quite that tense but she had the 'flamenco' dressage down pat. I wish had found her stuff back then. I can say that my riding and mind set to riding has changed a lot (for the better) since I started working with a lot of her material.

I got in a ride today. Managed to pony up the energy to get my saddle back to the barn ;) . Just a splendid wonderful fall day. 65 degrees, sunshine and a good horse. I got the OK from the back surgeon to resume life but am still being a bit on the cautious side. So still just did a walking session....

Today was lesson day. I'm not sure if I've ever had two lessons in one day before, but I lived through it. Second lesson was on Kyra. I wish I'd gotten video, because it was the best ride I've ever had on Kyra. Instructor got us working quite nicely and I think I have SI sorted out much better now....
