I agree with Chisamba...pretty classic for hypothyroidism. I was diagnosed in my 40's. Once that was lined out, I have been able to lose weight despite menopause. I haven't tried one but want to. My mare is also very sensitive to sound. Especially when it is windy. However, I am grounded for possibly a long ime so I am not going to invest in one yet. I have read good things about them.

I won't use clay. I am fairly new to cats but I find wet, slimy sticky clay litter just yuck.
I use either clumping pine, walnut or corn and it doesn't stick to the box...no wax needed.
I have seen about waxing before and I am glad it is working well for you. I'm too lazy .
