make sure your PT has a shoulder specialty. A frozen shoulder can be quite a beast. I would make sure I had the most focused work group. My last surgeon only did shoulder work.

Reaching was the most challenging activity for me as well. I did a lot of short distance reaching in my work and some days it was all I could do to work on the bench for an hour or two.
