Re: Looking forward to looking forward - March/April Goals and Progress
Susan, thank you! He hasn't slipped much since I have had him but did it once with me last week and once with the trainer. It does seem that after a period of not working much that it is worse. So we will keep trucking away the next few weeks and see if it strengthens up again.

Re: Looking forward to looking forward - March/April Goals and Progress
Also, unfortunately Lynx has had his stifle slip a bit occasionally. The chiropractor actually thought he felt pretty good. He has been growing a little (I can tell because he outgrew one of his blankets and his butt is sticking out of the rear.) He had a couple really light weeks because of extreme...

Quelah, gosh that's awful. Traumatizing for sure. Yikes.
Okay so no rope halters, probably use trailer ties as well? And I'll get tie loops installed inside for sure.
Thanks for sharing even as gruesome as it is. Sobering.

Re: I just got a horse trailer, tips?
Mountaineer, there actually is a bar for the middle that is removable. The lady only had one horse so she would use it as a slant load if she was alone. So if I'm hauling two, I will need to put the middle bar in again.
I do think I'll look for butt bars. I think they make it much safer.

so glad his cough is getting better! You might want to try tapering him off the zyrtec that way if it is allergy you will also be able to establish the lowest possible dose. As you know, Potters can be highly reactive.
