Re: The "tells" of correct/incorrect work
Great post, except. As part of our clinics, we take photos of our horses in order to compare at the next clinic to see how they are developing physically. This was brought home in a most humbling way when I brought my second horse, an Arabian, to the clinic for one day to get feedback. Well, be care...

I can't get the photos to enlarge on either my desk top or iPad. I think these will be too wide. Thanks.
Edited to say I can see the photos fine on my Windows computer at work, but not on my Apple at home. Harumph.

Another person with an abusive father here. I'm 61 and every once in a while I'm absolutely shocked at how close to the surface a trigger can be. Having said that, life has been good for and to me. Thank you for sharing and glad you are "back" to being you.

I tried a Duett on my wide, flat backed Arab. I liked it okay but ended up selling it. I now have a Lovatt & Ricketts Ellipse for him and love it. Two of my friends ride in Duetts and they are happy with them.

I don't know about NY, but in Oregon you can go in front of the judge and plead guilty with an explanation. They usually reduce the fine. (Okay, always, but they never wanted us to tell people that).

You said on another thread that this would be your riding horse and also would teach two kids to ride. A green horse of any age or breed will not be able to do that. I agree with orono, go with training and rideability.
