Re: When do you consider a horse dangerous?
It’s not an if somebody gets hurt. The horse is a time bomb and I guarantee the solution of what to do will only happen when someone gets a serious injury.Retirement seems like passing the buck unless the current owner retires him to a place where only she handles him. I say put him down.

He’s dangerous now. No waiting for a diagnosis. Biting, kicking, and you say you couldn’t turn your back on him as a youngster. I’m not experienced with doing a lot of diagnostics, but how far has the owner gone with scans, lameness exams? If his behavior is due to pain, the pain must be pretty seve...

I avoid the pricey (to me, anything about $10K) horses or the fancy movers or the upper level trained horses simply because I like to potter around. I do like warmblood-sales for window shopping. I'd for this girl because she's relatively inexpensive and not highly trained. Do I believe I would go f...

I’ve done my part. Ordered Miss A. a medium Weatherbeeta. Now she has the suite of matching sheet, medium, and heavy. This brings the total to 2 sheets, 3 mediums, and 1 heavy. I like the Weatherbeeta the most because it has strap and buckle chest fasteners instead of heavy clips.
