I just realised that is the end of health scares, fingers crossed. Just have some fluid to get rid of on the surgery site and get my strength back.
I am already able to do full sessions with Lewyn much to his disgust. Hopefully have a lesson soon on him. :D

I just got home from having my beautiful 3 month old filly put down after a terrible paddock accident. I really don't know what I have done to deserve this. :cry:

Have used a mullen mouth boucher which seems better than most but it is now banned in competition and I prefer using the same type of bit all the time. Any jointed bit is an issue. I thought she may have had a low pallett but apparently not.

Thanks for the offer, I have an instructor and once I am strong enough to ge through a lesson I will be back. This has been an ongoing problem without being ridden even. Lunging or long reining.

I put the radio on in the morning and turn it off at night except when weaning then it is on 24/7 so they have some noise happening like with puppies. I also have the football on on the weekend fairly loudly. I find it helps them become less sensative to noise when out and about.

I am not complaining to hard. It is 103f or 39.5c outside and a shocking wind. quite happy to stay where I am, just wish I didn't have to be stabbed on a regular basis. :o

My body decided it might grow a new boob on Tuesday so I am back in hospital on IV AB's. I feel fine but have an infection on the left side. Nothing drastic now but it has been caught early. Good thing is that they took the port out on Thursday but would let me go home. 2015 isn't going to let me go...

I am not recovered but this last lot of chemo has been easier. My bloods have been really good last few tests so my imune system has been fine. I was determined to go to this if possible and yes I got shakey as times but I just had a sit to catch up. All I was doing was walking and watching.

Finished chemo Wednesday then headed out with the van to 4 days of state dressage titles. If you can do that then you are half way to heaven. Saw some lovely ponies and some of our best GP horses. Had my last chemo today. This ends 6 months of infusions. I am so relieved to have got through it. Next Thursday I have the port removed and that is the end of my cancer treatment apart from hormone treatment I think next year. Now to recover from the cure. Fix the heart and get over the side effect...

I have lost about 20lbs with my chemo and I am hoping not to put it back on afterwards. I will be watching my diet closely and be getting a lot more active when I finish in 3 weeks. Fingers crossed I can control it.

Not bad for his 8th ride since June. I have done a fair bit of lunging with him to get his fitness up while i am only able to ride for 10 minutes at a time.
