Re: age is just a #-right??
Yes and no. I'm turning 64 end of the month and there are days I know I'm aging. Aches, pains, inability to physically do things I used to do. Reduced flexbility. The "I just don't wannas." The don't wannas are the drudges of life, like work, taking out the garbage. I plan on retiring next...

Cut Ariel's mane
Not truly roached, because roaching is clipping it down to the skin and we know she does not tolerate clippers. I cut it with a scissors and call it a "sticky uppy style." It needs finishing. She looks darn cute. And notice in the foreground are 2 lovely flakes of timothy alfalfa mix, but ...

Re: My barn’s new website
Yes, it’s a 3/4 mile track. The barn was originally a TB training barn, then it became a dressage barn. The dressage people added the indoor, the outdoors, and 2 more aisles. Funnily enough, they couldn’t sustain an 80 stall dressage only barn. LOL. Then the current owners changed it to an all disci...

Miss A. and the clippers
I've never needed to use the clippers on Miss A. But over the weekend I decided I wanted to trim her bridle path. (Up to this point I've paid someone to keep her mane tidy but I decided I can do it myself). My barn mate helped. I held Miss A and Doreen stood about 10 feet away with the clippers. Tur...

It’s not an if somebody gets hurt. The horse is a time bomb and I guarantee the solution of what to do will only happen when someone gets a serious injury.Retirement seems like passing the buck unless the current owner retires him to a place where only she handles him. I say put him down.
