Re: So I have a court date tomorrow...

It's done! I'm divorced! Apparently I still wasn't really prepared, the judge said my evidence/case was still really lacking but she was much nicer and helped me through it a bit more, and in the end ruled in my favor. I am so looking forward to moving on with my life, this has been a long time comi...

My dad will be going with me, my mom went last time but has to work tomorrow.
I've written out the paragraph several times, and read it out loud quite a few times also. I really hope I won't need to say much more.

So I have a court date tomorrow...

My husband and I have been separated for 3 years now, and we're still not divorced. Without going into a lot of detail, getting a divorce has fallen completely on me. If I want it done, I'm going to have to do it. Its not contested, he's just worthless. I cant afford an attorney and since the case i...

A THANK YOU-- To my Kringle

I received my kringle gift today, and I am completely overwhelmed. I didn't see a user handle, so thank you Sarah! My gift contained a couple movies I've been wanting, fuzzy socks (one can never have enough), chocolate, treats for the kids (errr...dogs.) which they will love, and an absolutely stunn...

Re: 2015 DDBB Kringle: Last day to ship the presents!

I think I've received my gift. I came home late last night to a note from my sweet, elderly neighbor that she has my UPS package. Of course the lights were all out and I didn't want to wake her if she was already in bed last night, and she didn't appear to be up yet when I left for work this morning...

I guess I fall into that "millenial" category, being 25. But I must be an outlier to what I'm reading. I work three jobs, I'm self sufficient, show up on time, keep my promises and commitments, and if I could afford it would be back in school giving it my all. However, I've seen what you'r...

I've never spun angora either but would love to try. Sigh - sending fleece across the border might be a challenge. I'm in southern Ontario (Hamilton). Nice to see we have some spinners on the board! HDM is fine. I don't particularly like it and the leather quality is exactly where you'd expect it, but for a cheap bridle it's fine.
