I'm open to going to Portugal, it would be great to get know and ride a Lusitano. My trainer describes them as the ' Spanish QH'. used to working with Spanish bulls ie the meaner, fistie type bull! How fun to have so many options, especially this week with so much sadness going on.

In September my husband and I were able to do the two hour beach ride done at Epona, and it was awesome. The people there were so helpful even though we weren't able to stay with them (this time!). I'll try to post pics later so you can see the terrain and the horses. I'd love to go to Epona too.......

Great pics of the BBFT & dear daughter-they are quite the lovely pair. My GF has the Rambo in the gold strip, it's warm and is holding up really well. I think she's had it 3 years now and it still looks brand new.

Not to highjack the thread, but question inspired by these horses...if you were going to buy a Lusitano, what web sites would you use? I looked on dreamhorse and only see 40 horses in listed in the whole database.... I'm I missing something, looking in the wrong place or ??

Mine also charges a minimal fee, not even a lesson fee unless I actually have a lesson. I sometimes do this the eve before the show.
She makes it up outside of the shows as she's my 'new best friend' lately, I train w her at least once a week.
