Just be careful, maybe tell a few people the name before you put it on that birth certificate. DH and I accidentally named our son the same name as the town we live in! Figure skating is even more vocal than the equestrian world. I'll bet there's quite a bit of "wailing" in the world of gymnastics too. Probably not so much is "lesser" sports like shooting and boating. I recall a movie from the 80's starring Mariel Hemingway in which sexual abuse...

As you know, I have spicy TB and laid back WB, so I feel your frustration. Two things...1) Stop comparing Rip to your lovely mares. He has his own qualities that I know you appreciate. It was a gorgeous day yesterday AND I had time to ride. :D Both horses were simply a joy. Tio trotted around like a well-schooled hunter and I even hopped him over a low cross-rail, much to his delight. he cantered off from the jump in a beautiful hunter-type canter. So simple. Rudy was so soft, for...

In addition to ulcers, it could also be, in part, a "teenager" thing. In my "vast" experience, I have found that when a horse hits around 5yrs old they begin to challenge everything you thought you taught them--rather like a 14/15 year old kid. Patience will win out in the end. :D
