My trainer's method - be sure you can move the shoulders and neck anywhere you want in canter/countercanter. In other words, when counter cantering, be sure you can have him look where he is going, so he is somewhat counter bent as well as counter cantering. Then move the shoulders into the NEW outs...

I use a thinline. I also have the fleece one, but it is very thick and will significantly change the saddle fit. The "bare" thinline is very thin. I believe my horse likes it too.

If I am correct, pentosan is an NSAID ( pain reliever/ anti inflammatory) while Legend works to replace joint fluid. Completely different functions.

Note there is an exemption for horses that get reactions.

I believe this rule is a result of the EHV outbreak here in OCala at HITS a few years ago. They allowed horses to leave the grounds after it was diagnosed.... and other barns were then infected.
