No. Where I board they get fed twice a day. I have tried a myriad of slow feed things. Few would the barn owners even try (they do all chores and feeding is walk and toss so if they could not do it from outside the pen, no go) and the ones we did try frustrated the horse terribly, didn't slow her do...

I am surprised that Kyra let me put her fly mask back on. When I got there, I whisked it off and gave her a gigantic static shock...which she hates. She wheeled away and stood about 6 feet away from me, softly snorting at me.

Definitely follow doctors' orders. You don't want internal things going where they aren't supposed to be. I had a vaginal hyst. I waited 8 weeks.
