I have had one in each foot. Diagnosed by way of a block, just like the horses! I was pain free for a blessed 24 hours after each block. So, I had surgery. I have been "nerved" or, more accurately, de-nerved. Miraculous. That was probably 25 years ago. No problems since.

I had a problem one time, and it was resolved to my complete satisfaction with one telephone call. It was my misunderstanding, incidentally. And using the service to "supplement" and "motivate" during horrid winter days made it a worthwhile expenditure.

Thanks - I just watched two of these lessons (before I rode) and found them really motivating. Solid basics look beautiful when done well. Even something as "simple" as walk-trot- walk, done correctly, is absolutely lovely to watch. This was a good reminder to be more diligent.

Clipping last year did NOT cure the scratches. Mupuricin / Murpuricin (sp?) plus DMSO led to a solution last year. This year, the issue was "unexplained stocking up" in the absence of any obvious physical reason. Clipping seems to have resolved the issue. I do not understand why this worke...

My older horse's hind legs were stocking up rather badly overnight (stalled). He was not lame. They looked like stove pipes. The swelling went down when he was worked. It is winter. He is furry. Problem was solved when the legs were clipped. Just thought I would pass this along.

I understand from our vet that neck threadworms can be hosted by donkeys. Accordingly, before Ivermectin, a recommendation was that donkeys and horses not be pastured together. I guess the lesson is that the long eared ones also need Ivermevtin.
