If this is a natural pond I would not do anything to aerate. Let the natives do it. Dragonflies eat a ton of mosquito larvae, as do frogs. I think this sounds like a great arrangement. your trainer gets good feedback at shows for her progressing training and you get a horse that will be ready for you when you ride You are going to be able to advance through the knowledge of the levels on a well trained horse. he sounds like a dreamboat
