Well... not much saddle time this week. I had my first attempt at ganglion impar injection by the pain doc and it didn't go. The needle needs to go through the joint between the sacrum and coccyx. YUCK. I like to open up my house at night. It has been dicey at best from all the surrounding wild fires. I have cable internet for WiFi at home. Using minimal data does decrease costs by carrying a smaller data plan. Of course you have to pay for the home internet . Anyway, that is what I do. I use WiFi whenever I can but have the data plan for when WiFi is not available (like the barn).

My mare was difficult in her earlier years. I agree...NOT FUN. Hers actually came from a physical issue (bit fit and super fleshy mouth conformation). It is doubtful they will heal. When they get to that point it is a scar. I have never had them "heal" up--as in hair over. As long as there is no active open sore or irritation, I would just put a dab of black shoe polish on it for shows/clinics.

I think rolled bridles are lovely but...they have less room for adjustment, usually over the crown piece. So, if it fits well within that adjustment, great. If you have a horse with odd sizing issues, then you are limited.
