Counted walk

Just what is this anyway? I googled it and didnt find much other than related to gaited horses. There was one article that referred to counted walk and dressage but to actually read the full article you had to purchase it and I was to skeptical to pay... I think it could be helpful if I understood it more.

It’s a very slow engaged walk diagnolizing the gait that energized gives you piaffe. RB to counted walk is a good exercise

Thanks for posting the vids. I am no where near ready for that but it’s good to watch so I’ll have some ideas for the future. I have absolutely no natural feel for doing in hand but I think I’d have to start it in hand so I could see instant feedback. At least in the early stages. Viewing it afterwards on Soloshot wouldn’t help as much in learning something like that.
