Cedar not only can start young horses and school them up to GP she can also do GP movements bridleless in a field. She brings her wide range of knowledge and skills to her lessons

super cool to see her riding with just the neck strap. Superb skill and training on display. Most fascinating to see how riding without a traditional connection affects the quality of the work. thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing, Khall. Also it's rather timely as I've just been thinking that I should see what happens with changes if I ride MM bridle-less. I ride her without a bridle from time to time and we're pretty good at doing basics, but i've never tried to changes....

I dont have video but Buster and I did changes and other fun things with no tack. Its my goal with every horse and every student when I was teaching. Its my test always for my own position...if I cant do this then I am not correct.

He was 24, Dutch, had been retired due to foot and soundness issues. His owner gave him to me.

Lovely!! I've ridden my little friesian x in a neck rope. I was surprised actually how much control you do have. I was expecting none. Not game to do it on the big horse though :)

yes I had a horse who would bolt. he could not be stopped with the bit, but could be stopped with the neck rope.
