I made this for my co-workers today. They all told me it was fantastic.
Slow Cooker Chili
Ingredients:
1.5 to 2 lbs of lean ground beef
1/3 c of diced onion OR 1 tbsp of dehydrated onion flakes
3 stalks of celery diced
1 tbsp of dehydrated/freeze dried garlic
2 (16 oz) jars of Herdez Medium salsa (or any salsa/heat level you choose)
1 (15 oz) can of kidney beans, drained
1 (15 oz) can of black beans, drained
1 (15 oz) can of navy beans, drained
1 (7 oz) can of niblet corn
1 (10 oz) can of sliced mushrooms
1 tsp of chili powder
½ tsp parsley
¾ tsp basil
¾ tsp oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Place beef, garlic and onion in skillet and cook until evenly brown. Drain grease.
Place beef mixture in the slow cooker. Add all other ingredients and mix well. (This will fill a standard size crock pot)
Cover, and cook 8 hours on low, or 6 hours on high.
**I didn't add peppers because, well, I don't like them, and there are enough peppers in the salsa that I didn't think any more was needed.

Re: Slow Cooker Chili
It sounds delish, except for the black beans cuz don't like them. I like the addition of mushrooms.
