I haven't given them a definite start date (I have a few days to figure things out). I have to put in my notice at my current job tomorrow, then pack up my entire life and move - not across the country or anything, but still about 4 hours away.
Could I possibly ask for jingles for a smooth transition? Finding an apartment, getting things out there, not getting caught in a snowstorm while towing the trailer (I mean, it'll be end of January/beginning of February - not the most ideal timing). I'm caught between "holy crap, freaking out, that's a lot in a short amount of time" and "eh, I'll figure it all out, it'll be fine." I'm not always good at finding the balance there
