Brag on Annie!
At Christmas I adopted a dog that had been surrendered to her breeder at 3 years old. I'm not sure why, as she has been a perfect dog for me. Tonight I took her to the nursing home to visit my mom. It was her first time there, and probably her first time ever at a nursing home. She was such a good girl. and didn't blink an eye at the wheelchairs and walkers and smells and frail residents. She stood patiently while they petted her, occasionally poking her in the eye or tapping on her head. She was so gentle with them. They loved her, and I was so proud of her. My mom just lit up when she saw her, and my mom has never been an animal person!

Re: Brag on Annie!
You should be proud of your girl. Will you go through therapy training with her?
Re: Brag on Annie!
Fantastic!
Re: Brag on Annie!
That's awesome
Re: Brag on Annie!
What a sweet dog.
Re: Brag on Annie!
That's awesome! You should take her through the process with Therapy Dogs International or Delta Society, if you have the time or inclination. Sounds like she'd do great...and you'd have liability insurance covering you, and you'd be "legal" in more regulated places like acute care hospitals, rehab hospitals, etc. Love the photo!
