Or what my DH was up to last night while I slept, but I thought that as a topic might cause people to think something else entirely
This is a single unedited shot, but I thought it was neat and wanted to share it. Now that winter has arrived the leaves have fallen off the trees blocking his view with the telescope so hopefully I'll have edited and stacked pictures to share in the near future.

Oh my! I love astrophotography!
Does he sell any of his art? What kind of scope and camera set up does he have?

No sales, he is still working on getting things just right and mostly has to wait until fall/winter to do any work because our back yard has a giant tree in the middle of it. I told him he would have to get the horse head nebula soon.
Picture is a 3 minute single exposure taken with an EdgeHD 11" SCT, Canon 6D, and OAG Lodestar X2. Captured in BYE 3.1, guiding in PHD2.

Re: Space Picture
When he starts selling, let me know! I collect astrophotography pictures to put up around our telescopes. We don't have tracking and I don't have the patience to do any astrophotography. LOL
Hubby has a 6" Celestron and a 10" homemade Dob that he loves.

Wow. Just beautiful.
Re: Space Picture
Gorgeous. I'm guessing the equipment you mentioned is expensive? I probably don't dare show the photo to DH!

Neither telescopes nor cameras are cheap hobbies. Unless you compare them to a horse, then yes, they're very cheap.
