I got my prezzies today! Kelo sent me a cushy grey plaid scarf to wear at the barn, a box of Bic pens, a darling pocket notebook with a horse on it, and the biggest bag of Ghirardelli chocolate with caramel squares. Thank you so much!

I got my gifts this weekend! Thank you for the sunglasses and the Reese’s galopp! I am taking my sunglasses on a trip this week. And I put the Reese’s in the freezer so I will hopefully eat them more slowly!

I received my gift from pKOR! She sent me a book I've been really wanting to read, "The Girl On The Dancing Horse" by Charlotte Dujardin, an elephant necklace I had on my Christmas list, and some of my favorite candies!
Thank you so much Jen! I've almost eaten all the candy already, and I can't wait for an afternoon to dive into this book!

Yay! I haven’t participated in a few years and I missed it so much. Your wishlist looked SO fun, I wanted to buy it all but wasn’t sure how appropriate it all was for a horsey gift exchange

I’m so glad you liked it. I tried to go for a horse related gift and also something non horse related that looked fun.

Also, I wanted to leave a note for my Kringle. I’m headed out of town this Friday, so if my gift happens to get here after that, it might be a week before I get back home and see it. I don’t want anyone to think I’m ignoring them.

I got the best gift from Chisamba!!! An Amazon gift card! Thank you so much, I love to spend money

Re: **2019 Kringle Exchange!** ASSIGNMENTS SENT! **
Huge thanks to my Kringle, PhoenixRising!!!!!
I got a cornucopia of wonderful items for not only me but also my ponies and puppies
First, everyone got treats - I got some of my favorite candy, and the horses got some stud muffins they're going to go berserk over, and my dogs got some freeze dried liver treats (which is my favorite thing to give them!)
I also got a BEAUTIFUL little handmade Native American-made horsehair pot, it is just wonderful.
And I got just exactly the dressage saddle pad that I not only wanted, but NEEDED -- I have one that I've had for many years that I recently managed to love to death, it started shredding from all the use/washings. And now I have a brand new one to replace it, which will be put into use very soon
This is my first time doing the exchange, and it was so much fun
Thanks to everyone who made it happen.
Merry Christmas everyone!

So...I do not know who my Kringle is this year because the package came direct from Amazon with no name attached, BUT
Thank you very much for all the wonderful goodies!!! A super soft throw to wrap up in, chew sticks for the dogs, my two newest favorite movies--Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocket Man and I think something else, but I'm at work and can't recall. I love it all, thank you so very much.

You are so welcome!
I was very worried it had fallen in a black hole as you can never tell with the post these days.
It's probably a bit late to keep you warm, but I'm so glad you like it. Our sheep are very special and they produce beautiful soft fibre as you can see!
You can wear it as a wrap around your shoulders, or as a scarf which is how I usually wear mine and they are lovely to keep your neck warm.
I'm experimenting with overdyeing the fibre and hope to be able to spin up some I've dyed a deep blackish red colour.
Here's Pikelet looking forward to being put in with his ewes for breeding!
For people who don't know what a pikelet is, it's a small fluffy griddle pan fried yummyness sort of like a pancake, normally served with butter and jam on the top, and sometimes cream too! Pikelet's mum is Crepe Suzette who I hand reared as she slid under the fence when born like a pancake.

Pikelet is very handsome. Is he polite. My ram has suddenly started challenging humans. Ugh.

Yes Pikelet is a very polite chap, he's 2yo and has been siring lambs since he was about 5mths old! The other 3 rams are also nice to handle and I can move them around easily by myself which helps.
I'd be getting rid of your ram for safety reasons, life is far too short to have a loaded gun waiting for you in the paddock! Best make sausages from him before someone gets injured.

Sadly, I agree
Re: **2019 Kringle Exchange!** ASSIGNMENTS SENT! **
Further to my nice polite Pikelet..
A couple of days ago I found him macramed to the fence, he had the wires firmly wrapped around his horn, he couldn't get free and he was not happy. At all!
He's a big ram and probably weighs in at over 100kg, so he's a lot heavier and stronger than both of us, add to that those big horns and you have a 4 legged lethal weapon with attitude, and it's the middle of the breeding season here so he's usually busy serving ewes all day.
Hubby & I went to rescue him, I held his back end to help keep him still while hubby wrestled with getting the wires unwound from his horn. He knew we were helping him and he stood as still as a statue!
We finally got him free and I helped to pull him backwards and away from where he had been stuck, he very politely turned away from both of us and calmly trotted off to see all his ladies who were waiting for him further down the paddock.
Many other rams would have turned and had a go at both of us but he seems to be such a kind chap, I'm very impressed with his behaviour. What a dude!
