This is beyond crazy to me. I've been to Holly Hill numerous times over the last 16 or so years and it just seems unreal that a bomb was detonated under the Hewlitt's house, and a barn worker had another bomb in his residence, along with other weapons. It's a bloody horse farm for goodness' sake.

I can't think of a thing to say. Very elaborate revenge plot for something?

Wow, this is truly a sad story. The man who planted the bomb, Doug, was a loner, but had made friends with a horse, Charlie. They were quite close but then Charlie got sick, colic, and colic surgery was not a financial option for the owners, so they put had him euthanized about 6 months ago. Doug had begged the owners to save Charlie, so they did try for a bit longer than should have to save him, but in the end, it was futile. The Hewlitt's purchased a grave marker for Charlie that said "Charlie: Doug's Beloved Friend".
So sad for everyone involved.
