I have a problem...

Postby Tuddy » Wed Apr 13, 2016 6:54 pm

Most women love shoes (me included) and have closet full of them...

Me... it's breeches...

I don't buy the standard, beige, tan, white or black or brown... I have to buy these kind. So, I did...

https://www.amazon.ca/Saddlery-Ladies-R ... t+breeches

And then these ones too...

https://www.amazon.ca/HyPerformance-Aly ... e+breeches

Don't get me started on saddle pads....

Hey, I think riding should be fun, including what we wear! Besides, those breeches are a reasonable price.

I like them both. But, I'm afraid the leopard would attack my elephant thunder thighs and spook my horse

I hear you about color. I have 2 pairs of bright Pikeur breeches - bright red and tropical ocean blue. The rest are boring..... :)

I love the leopard ones! I'm not a purple gal so I can't say I'm wild about the others. But I would have loved red breeches back when I rode

I can't say I want to put print on my butt, personally, but I like to see people having fun!

Those look like fun! I love the black/damask. Have you seen any of the Buckwild products in person, and/or can you comment on how the sizing and length run?

Tuddy, when I received a breeches order from "Tack of the Day" this week I thought of you. My husband saw the return address and was like "Are you kidding me? What's coming tomorrow??"

I don't know how many breeches are too many breeches :D

Sadly...I would rather not have any attention focused on my hind end or I'd be all over the more colorful wilder breeches. :D

Not yet. Expect them next week - their shipment was delayed until Monday, they will send them out as soon as they get them. In the email explaining this, they included a $25 off code to thank me and apologize for the delay!! THAT is customer service!

Here is another idea: Montar breeches from The Horse of Course. There are three different bling styles. I have two pair and just ordered another - love the fit and feel - they can handle my thighs and calves! AND - on clearance: https://www.thehorseofcourse.com/cart.p ... ory_id=178

Some of these are too cute! I have to be careful because of the exchange rate. :(

And my arse is a full axe handle wide, and I don't have an issue with flaunting it and neither should anyone else!!!

Lorilu, did you ever receive your Buckwild Breeches? If so, do you like them and how does the sizing run? And what is the "Grip Technology" on the full seat?

I feel the need to order some new breeches; they may as well be something fun!

Canyon, I got them last week. All the black lines on the zebra print are.... silicone. I am afraid they will be too sticky! I wrote to them, and they said go ahead and ride in them - if I don't like it, I can return it.
Now THAT is customer service!!
Trying them tomorrow, I'll report back.

I have a pair of sticky seats with the silicon and they are fine to ride in, now getting off the leather couch not so easy!!
