I finally have my own little stables!

Postby Flight » Sat May 07, 2016 2:46 am

I've had my place for about 8 years, I had a break up and had to find a place on my own etc.
So I have a couple of dodgy acres on the side of a hill with powerlines, BUT slowly I've been adding stuff and I've finally got a little stable block of my own :)

Now I just need power, water, stable mats .... shelves, hooks..... Arghhh it never ends! Oh and yes I'll be putting yards on the ends of the open stables. Just have to dig the holes and save up more $$

Very nice! And you are doing it by yourself, that's something to be very proud of.

You won't know yourself. Maybe look at solar lights for now, just a battery, solar panel and lights. Cheaper to get and will last until you can afford power.

Thanks everyone!! It is very exciting!!

Shirrine, yep I've been thinking about the solar route. I only need light in winter in there and not much else.

We use lead light in the caravan and smallish solar panel and battery and it does me for 2 weeks away. The only problem may be enough daylight but lead lights take hardly any power.

Oh I'm soooo jealous! We're trying to design something for our new little piece of land, but it won't end up being anywhere near as fancy.
Congratulations!

Congratulations! I love the design, and second solar power for lights. Very do-able and affordable.
