Yep that is right in Ballarat which is a mjor regional city in Victoria. We are in the middle os fall and there are leaves everywhere. Where I parked has deap drains and a lot of roadside trees so lots of roots. My front wheel went into the leaves and kept going down lifting the weight off the opposite back wheel. I had to be pulled out.
Apparently is quite common in this road which is one of the major streets in town.
See how deep the leaves were?
The roots, was nearly touching the bottom of the car.
And what the back wheel marks.

I don't know if they use catalytic converters in Australia, but in the U.S. you never want to park a car with a catalytic converter over a pile of dried leaves. The converter operates at 400 to 800 degrees Fahrenheit. Quite capable of setting the leaves on fire even with radiant heat from the converter. I've seen the converters on my vehicles kill the mowed grass under the converter from the radiant heat.

Leaves were very wet, has been raining here all week. The engine itself was not in the leaves, just the wheel.
