My first lesson on Tucker

Postby PaulaO » Sat Oct 17, 2015 9:31 pm

I pushed enough buttons and figured out how to save the pictures. I still hate Windows.

Anyway, here are Tucker and me last last night. We had a getting to know you lesson. I was a weeble wobble but by the end of lesson my balance was coming back. Tucker is very forgiving, but he doesn't give unless you ask. The outdoor faces a road which is used as a shortcut for ambulances. Tucker didn't even look when they went by, lights flashing, sirens blaring. Bob would have spun and bolted. It's so nice not to have to ride defensively.

I forgot how much I love being around horses, and riding. I look forward to a happy relationship with Tucker.

Tucker also doesn't mind herds of deer,,dogs barking, or crossing the busy street. The only thing he's not fond of is manhole covers. He just gives them the stink eye and sidles around them.

KathyK, I was able to translate Chi's post! LOL

A horse named Tucker is the best! My first lesson horse in 1968 was named Tucker! Enjoy your guy - he sounds like one smart sane horse!!
