I bought a print of me jumping. Actually, i paid for the use on social media ( non commercial) use .
Photographer sent me the copy by e mail. Then, ( not mentioned on the site) the photog messages me and asks to be tagged every time I use the photo.
I have no intention of friending or tagging this person in any of my social media accounts. I do not have to, do I?
This is the content of the email.
Thank you for your recent order for a digital social media print. Usage of the image is limited to personal use only (personal Facebook, Instagram, etc), no commercial usage (business websites, social media for businesses, etc). Please let me know if you have any questions

Re: Use of photography question
If it wasn't mentioned at the time of order, I think you're fine. Personally, I think it's kind of a silly request. If she wants people to know how to contact her, she should watermark her social media "prints" with a discrete web address in the corner or something...but she needs to be upfront about it (so you know what you're getting has a watermark). Back when show prints were the thing, they usually came with a small foil sticker or watermark in the corner telling you who the photographer was.

Chisamba, I think you're fine (at least in my non-professional opinion).
I think it fine that she asked but also fine that you don't choose to honor the request. It doesn't sound like it was ever mentioned in the terms for purchasing the non-commercial, social media use only photo.
I'm not an attorney but if you don't, not sure what she can do to you as it doesn't sound like any contract terms are being violated.
And nice photo of a nice pair

Re: Use of photography question
I agree with both Suzon and WMW. It's kind of a ridiculous request that really should have been stated before you purchased the print.
Re: Use of photography question
I don't normally worry either, there's a watermark on the pic anyway.
Cool pic too

A late PS...
Terms and Conditions would be the "contract" (you know, that Agree button that everyone clicks so fast it is blurred???)
And I still say as everyone else... go for it
