Others are concerned about how I feed my horses.

Postby DJR » Thu Nov 01, 2018 1:40 am

I’ve had a few people today approach me to discuss how I feed my horses. I really can’t figure out why.

Both my dog and my horse look fine to me!

I think they are looking a little ribby.

I agree, they look good. You want to see their ribs a little to be sure they aren't too fat. Also, I can tell your horse has good bone structure.
Keep calm and canter on.

They look ok to me. But I’m wondering, is your horse a little on the spooky side?

Never mind what we think, what do your horses and dogs think?

I think your horse might be lame. Just look at how he is standing.

They seem to be rather air-headed, so I don't know.

Heads up, you can get your own skeleton horse from Home Depot for $25 right now. I just ordered one that to this thread!
Keep calm and canter on.

Might be smaller than Deanna's, but for that price, I had to have it.

I'm sorry I missed the giant animatronic dragons Home Depot was selling (if anyone spots one at their local store..), but did get a few dogs and ponies for, well, a dog and pony show

My pony arrived with severe cervical arthritis. Some quick surgery and he's able to pick his head up. Unfortunately, he is unable to achieve a grazing position, which might explain his low BCS.
Keep calm and canter on.

When I purchased the full sibling to your new horse, I thought it quite sensible to bring Spooky home in the horse trailer. I texted my local vet a pic of Spooky in the trailer with the message “bringing home another rescue, can you come have a look this afternoon?”

LOL, that’s hilarious. What did your vet say?
