I am watching Goliath. One episode in, and so far I like it a lot.

We just finished watching 'Godless' (netflix) - a western. I loved it! Only 7 episodes, interesting characters, plenty of action (yeah, some violence, but I coped with it, so not excessively gory), pretty horses (though, of course, the sound effects team cannot help but add random whinnying, so annoying!). A little bit of a confusing start, but hang in there, the story comes together, and I thought it was great.

I have been watching Welcome to Earth on National Geographic. It has Will Smith in it and it reveals some really neat/interesting things about the planet and it's beings.

I loved godless, watched it a few years back when it first came out. I would watch it again

Oh yeah, ha hah, I should probably have mentioned it came out in 2017! I only just found it through some random internet comments though, so I was excited to share :-)

StraightForward wrote:Inventing Anna. We have been binge watching it the last few days and have one episode left.

Based on a true story from a few years ago about a young woman in NYC who may or may not have been a Russian heiress and scammed people out of all kinds of money.

Along the same lines, now we're watching "The Dropout" about Elizabeth Holmes, the Theranos CEO who created a billion dollar company based on fake tech for blood testing. There is a good documentary on I think NetFlix about it that we watched last fall as well.

I watched this (coincidently) a couple of weeks before Putin's (latest) invasion of Ukraine. It puts some of the current affairs into context, including the courage of the Ukrainian people. It's extremely powerful and well done.

I'm catching up on "This is Us." Watching the fourth season now. It has been remarkable since the first episode in the first season.

We're binge watching Outer Banks this week. So far (we're done with E8S1) it is really good! As an added bonus, it is, for the most part (there is some drug and alcohol use, and one of the main characters has an abusive father who beats the living daylights out of him) family friendly (certainly completely appropriate for the 12+ crowd who have some understanding of difficult social situations).

It was filmed in the Charleston/Savanah area so the scenery is breathtaking.

Candice Renoir on Netflix. French detective series. Its really quite good, the characters develop well as the series continues, and I actually have to focus on it because of the subtitling, which is doing good things for my rusty French.

Better Call Saul is finally starting on Monday! I think this might be the best spinoff show/series ever.

Anyone seen Inventing Anna on Netflix?
I wasn't sure about it after one episode. But after three, it had me hooked! IT was very good.

Oh yeah, we binge watched Inventing Anna! If you liked that, you might also like The Dropout, which is about the Theranos/Elizabeth Holmes fraud.
