In which I ask for jingles for my best girl bailey (dog)

Postby Ryeissa » Fri Apr 10, 2020 9:22 pm

Well.....you guys were the first to hear of her, now I need jingles for (yet more) medical needs. My best beagle x lab is now 11, she lost her eye due to glaucoma (long story) and is having some old age related changes in her remaning eye (not serious) but now she scratched her eye. I have good medical care, but at this point anything else sends me into panic/depression/saddness/fear as this poor dog has been though a lot.

The vet stays the prognosis is good for recovery, we shall see,

<<<<Hugs to you and Bailey>>>>

I've scratched my eye, and Anzia's scratched her eye. Can't really ask the horse how her recovery went, but I can tell you the worst part for me was the goop. By far. Not a fan of stuff in my eyes (no contacts here!) and it left a greasy film over my eye that made me wish I could sleep until it was all over. I recovered, and wasn't traumatized. Anzia didn't seem to care — it was just a different goop that the one we use for her regular bouts of conjunctivitis.

Ahh, sweet Bailey, jingles that this scratch heals quickly. Yes, she has had more than enough health issues.

Scratches typically heal quickly, keep up her melds and keep her out of bright sunshine/lights.

Hugs

How Mr Riot?

The reason I brought up bright light is because when I had scratched my eye very badly and actually went to the ER, bright light made my eye very painful.i even had trouble watching tv.

Thanks for asking, she is doing a bit better. Her eye has some pre-exsisting concerns but the scratch seems to be getting better. She is starting to interact more and stopped running into the wall....! it will be a bit longer ....
