When I was in Switzerland the first time back in July, I happened upon an artist's booth which was set up with the vendors at a dressage show. She was working on one of her commissioned pieces at the time. The paintings she had hanging on display took my breath away, with her use of color and her ability to capture the horse.
I don't love absolutely everything she has done - not all are my style. But so many of them I do.
I wanted to make my apartment here feel more personal, so I contacted her about specific prints that I was interested in. One was a commissioned piece and so she had to get permission from the horse owner before she could reproduce it for me.
I got my prints today. I couldn't be happier. I really want to have her paint my Cartier in 2016, once I find the right photo.

those are gorgeous and look nice on your walls. Thanks for sharing her information.

Yes, me too. I got that one in card (very small) form the first time I met her.

In my Swiss apartment, which came fully furnished and decorated, I cannot add/do anything to the walls - even tape. These frames were already there, with other artwork inside. She made the prints in the exact size to fit the frames which worked out so well.

I met with Fiona today to plan my commission of Cartier. We got everything worked out except the size/shape of the canvas and the background. I'm going to sleep on it and get back to her ASAP so she can get started.
