Snoring

Postby LindaJ » Fri Dec 18, 2015 5:41 am

So… Has anyone seen those soft looking, almost headband-ish cloth devices that fit around the chin and up over the head to supposedly help prevent snoring? I'm wondering if that actually works. Seems like it would help hold your jaw a little bit in place. What do you guys think?

Tried it. Didn't work for me.

I had my doubts but switching the SO to a My Pillow has drastically reduced his snoring.

I haven't seen the device you are describing so can't comment on it.

I already have a My Pillow and do like it. Doesn't help with snoring, but has helped greatly with neck pain. This is the strap I'm referring to

Have him checked for sleep apnea. Once Michael got his CPAP he doesn't snore at all....It is SO nice.

For those who like MyPillow (I don't have one) there is a radio ad offer that gives 4 pillows (two regular, two smaller ones) for the price of a regular one The promo code is DON.

I've used the Easy Sleep Pro when I had to adjust to my Sleep Apnea mouthpiece as I can't tolerate a Cpap or Bipap machine. Worked OK.

I would strongly suggest getting checked for Sleep Apnea if chronic snoring is an issue.

We both snore  When I went back to college, I started sleeping with soft earplugs and it's been a great thing lol! My poor hubby does get woken up by my snoring though. We're a pair!

Wicky...that's a great deal on the My Pillow for sure!

Although I haven't done any sleep testing, I think the majority of my snoring issues stems from sinus and allergy issues....but all of you do bring up good points. I appreciate the input :)
