Can't pick a name...

Postby PhoenixRising » Tue Jan 05, 2016 1:43 am

So, I've had my angora a few weeks now and I just can't decide on a name. She's very friendly and I'm really enjoying her so far but nothing is sticking. I'm hoping for some good ideas, since I seem to be stuck!

Another vote for Phillis (good one Stella!). She reminds me of Phillis Diller, whom I loved as a kid. If you added a pink bow or two she'd be a perfect match!

Too bad it's a girl because I would call "him" Einstein, if she were a he. For this girl though, Henrietta, definitely..lol.

My initial reaction when I saw her was Flopsy, but I thought that was slightly ridiculous, LOL.

I was thinking something like fluffy, but maybe Fuffy or Fuppy?

When I had a Polish chicken (the kind with the poof on its head) I wanted to name it after the Muppet Janice, but that is my MIL's name, so I wasn't sure that would go over well. She kind of looks like a muppet... maybe Fozzy?

She's adorable! I had an Angora of that color when I was a kid. Her name was Lila, and she was really sweet. She would lay on her back next to me on the couch while I was watching TV and make little clicking noises.
Keep calm and canter on.

"The Fabulous Belladonna Took" from "The Hobbit". That's what your Bunny reminds me of.

Thank you for all the suggestions! I think I'm going to go with the most popular choice, Phyllis! I think it suits her!

She's an English Angora! In this picture she had recently had her wool "plucked" or "harvested". She's even fluffier now!
