Sharing a Pic of My Girls
I posted this on Facebook, but I thought I'd share it here. This is Chloe, my old Saddlebred mare, and her daughter, Tempi.

Oh, love it! Is it a composite or did you get them to pose that way? If you were able to get them to pose that way, I need to borrow some of your horse whispering mojo..lol.

No mojo involved. They were eating hay. Chloe was eating out of the hay bag hung up on the fence and Tempi was eating off the ground. Chloe decided to scratch her face on the bag and Tempi picked her head up to see what I was doing at the same time. I did have to rebuild part of Chloe's face from the frame before because it was hidden behind the hay bag. But basically, this was the pose they struck, completely by chance. The reason it's got a new background is I hadn't cleaned the paddock yet and there's about 6 piles of poop behind them.

Nice horses! I was really taken with the mares and the boy looks like a character. We had a paint for 15 years and he was a character, too, so we have a special fondness for painted horses.
