He pooped and got an entire poop ball stuck in his tail which lasted for the entire ride.

Goldhorse, yours is hard to top!
My horse is so talented that when I got off her on the trail one day and accidentally landed on a hornets nest (holding on to the horse until the stings were too much), she took off and found a new farm 2 miles away to take her in---since I was obviously a screaming crazy person who elects to stand on hornet nests.
(Thankfully, that farmer did come looking for her home!)

How in the heck did you hold on to her for any length of time?

Re: My horse is so talented....
It wasn't easy. And she did try to wait for me while I got stung and slapped at hornets. But the screaming sent her over the edge!!! I got stung about 30 times. She got stung 3 times and was other uninjured after her departure..
This was in our first year together. I've since learned when she says, "you might not want to take this trail", I should listen to her!

LOL at the poo ball! Piedmontfields, not sure what hornets are (wasps?) but I don't blame her for running off!

This is a very special face! Great shot.
Yes, hornets = yellowjackets = stinging bees similar to a wasp
