It has been reported on FB that LaurieB has died due to breast cancer. This is from "Tell Us About You" from above.

I was LaurieB on UDBB.
Mid 40's veterinarian (small animal). From Maine but live in Columbus, OH.
Rode somewhat seriously as a kid. Had many years out of the saddle, and began riding again in 2004-ish?
Have had my pony for almost 10 years.
I still suck at riding but am getting better.
Godspeed, LaurieB

Re: Godspeed, LaurieB
LaurieB was an amazing woman. She was very helpful to me when I got my own breast cancer diagnosis.
I had just spoken with her a few weeks ago. When the cancer came back to her bones, she had her horse retrained to drive so that she could still enjoy horse sport.
As a canine neurologist, she was also very helpful to me when Sadie, my AmStaff was diagnosed with cerebellar abiotrophy.
The world has lost an amazing woman.
She will be missed.
