Kyra and I finished up this session with a nice mounted session. I did mostly walk with lots of lateral work. We did SI-->renver and counter SI to true SI.
I was also able to do some straight line trotting without it killing my back so we did a few rounds of that...trotting the side and walking the corner. You can fit in a lot of transitions that way.
At the end when I let her stretch and do free walk for our cool down...Wowzers! She really had swing in her walk and it felt like her strides were much longer so all that lateral work does something .
